It is already the New Year and less than six weeks until the 4L Trophy officially starts. This means for us that we have to organize the route and the school supplies among other things.
After finishing repairing all four R4’s we can work on the final search for supporting companies.
As you may have noticed our homepage got a new sector. One now have the chance to see the pictures of the restoration of the two R4’s. You can for example see an R4 disjointed in its parts and how the four mechanical engineering students put the parts back together with the new red paintwork.
In the final weeks before the start we are organizing the school supplies. For this purpose we contacted the local schools where we will present our project. Afterwards the kids explore the cars they will give us their donation in form of school material.
Now all that is left is organizing our equipment including tents, sleeping bags, pharmaceutical products and whatever we need in the desert. This may sound like we are almost done with the preparations for the rallye but there is still a lot to do.
So let’s get back to work!
