After the newspaper and radio the Local Television Station WDR visited us in Soest. During their visit we were able to present the little goal we already achieved. “We are very happy and grateful that the WDR gives us the opportunity to present our project on TV” said project manager Dominic Glinka.
The restoration of the third R4 is going and will be finish within the next 2 or 3 weeks. All it needs is the paintwork. We chose next to the orange and green R4 to have the next one red. Also the Two R4’s from last year had a check up. “Both Batteries were changed and the generator was checked to make sure the cars are ready for the cold season,” explained Philipp Sommer. Little things like changing the light bulbs was another job that could easily be done by the only woman in the team.
The search for Sponsor is also coming along. We were able to win over some Companies already. But we hope to attract more supporters in the following weeks. So if you are interested in funding us we would be happy to hear from you.
